This policy covers what SeedFi collects when you use seedfiloan.com, why we collect it, who receives it, and the choices you keep. The short version: request data goes to licensed lenders for loan decisions — not to unrelated marketers — and you can ask us what we hold, fix it, or delete it.
What We Collect
Request information you provide on the form: name, date of birth, Social Security number, address and state, income details, checking account information, requested amount and purpose. Usage information collected automatically: device and browser type, pages visited, and similar technical logs that keep the site working and secure. We do not collect information from your device beyond what operating the site requires.
Why We Collect It
Request information exists for one purpose: transmission to state-licensed lenders in our network so they can evaluate your request and respond with offers. Usage information supports site operation, security, and improvement. We use contact details to send transactional messages about your request — offer notifications, verification reminders — and, where you've consented, occasional service updates you can stop with one click.
Who Receives It
Licensed lenders in the network receive your request information when you submit — that transmission is the product, and it happens encrypted. Service providers who run our infrastructure (hosting, security, analytics) process data under contracts limiting use to our instructions. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties, and we do not share your request file with marketers who have nothing to do with your loan request. Legal process — a valid subpoena, a regulatory requirement — can compel disclosure, as it can for any company.
What Lenders Do With It
Once a lender receives your request, its own privacy policy governs its use, including any credit-bureau inquiries it runs. Lenders who fund your loan retain records under their legal obligations regardless of later deletion requests to us — that retention is theirs, required of them, and outside our control. Read the privacy notice on any offer you consider; it's the document that governs the relationship you'd be entering.
Your Choices
Email [email protected] with "Data Request" in the subject to: learn what we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your information from our systems. We confirm receipt within two business days and complete requests within the timeframes your state's law sets. Declining to provide request information is always available — the site's guides, calculator, and glossary work without an account or a request. Browser-level choices (blocking cookies, do-not-track signals) affect only usage analytics, never your request's security.
Security and Retention
Request data transmits encrypted and is stored with access controls limiting it to personnel who need it for the purposes above. We retain request information only as long as operating the service and meeting legal obligations require, then delete or de-identify it. No system is invulnerable — which is why the FAQ's scam-spotting answer matters: after any loan request anywhere, be alert for unrelated callers demanding fees. SeedFi never calls to demand payment; no legitimate lender asks you to pay to be paid.
